Walking distance from the Lincoln Memorial, the MLK Jr memorial was everything and more than I could’ve expected. Its simplicity is striking, and beyond moving. The memorial is by a little lake, and you can also see the Jefferson Memorial from there.
The Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial at the Tidal Basin in Washington, D.C., honors civil rights leader Dr. King.
