SMITHSONIAN NATIONAL PORTRAIT GALLERY, DC

My daughter moved to Washington DC right after Christmas of 2022. I hadn’t seen her since then, and was finally able to go visit her. I arrived on a Thursday evening, and we went out for Thai food near her apartment.

The next day, Friday, it was raining,, so we decided to head to the portrait gallery at the Smithsonian. One of my favorite portraits is the one of President Obama, and Katherine Hepburn.

Here are (many of) my favorites from our 3 hour long stay there.
