RHEINTAL, SWITZERLAND 2024
HOME.
The Rhein Valley, in the northeast of Switzerland, is where we grew up. We moved there in 1967 from Sydney, Australia, when I was just 2 years old. My older siblings where 6/8/9/11 years old. They remember the day we arrived, it was February and VERY cold with lots of snow. When we left Australia, it was summer, and my parents couldn’t find any true winter clothes for us, so apparently it was COLD.
It was so wonderful to show Jesse where we lived, went to school, and where we hung out at the Widnau swimming pool during the summers. I could see the pool where my Mum taught me to swim when I was 7!
A great day trip with my son and brother!
