BERN, Switzerland

Decided last minute to head in to the city for some street photography, and a visit to the river Aare, where people where floating by in rubber dinghies!

Truly my favorite Swiss city!

Bern, Switzerland's capital, boasts well-preserved medieval architecture and a vibrant cultural scene. In summer, it attracts locals and tourists with its charming streets, outdoor activities, and lively atmosphere. The UNESCO-listed old town features long arcades, stunning fountains, and the Zytglogge clock tower. The Aare River provides scenic views and options for swimming and relaxing. The Rosengarten offers panoramic vistas and over 200 rose varieties, ideal for leisurely afternoons. Summer events showcase local culture, food, and music, while markets overflow with fresh produce. The Bernese Alps cater to outdoor enthusiasts with hiking and biking trails. Evenings bring life to plazas and cafes, fostering social gatherings and vibrant summer energy. Overall, summer in Bern blends history, nature, and community for a unique visitor experience.
