AARBERG IN THE FOG
Aarberg is a lovely old town, about 25 minutes from Wohlen. It has a beautiful Stadtplatz (town square), with lots of restaurants, cafes, and stores. But beware when you visit, as the stores close for lunch from 12-13.30 everyday. The restaurants remain open though… :) Behind the Stadtplatz you can find the river Aare, very small and narrow at this point, and a lovely walk along the river.
Oh, and on the way back to Wohlen again, as you’re coming over the hill in Innerberg, you have an astounding view of the Alps!
