JULIAN, CA
It’s probably been about 15 years since I’ve made the trek up the Julian. It’s been so hot this summer, so we waited until it had cooled down significantly. Such a lovely, windy drive past Alpine, Descanso, and on to Julian. As Jesse and I walked past the stores, one caught my eye, and as I looked inside I saw an old friend, Lori Sorbo. Then I remembered that she and her family have had the store THE OLDE GOAT for a few years now, but this was my first time seeing it, of course.
The BEST part of going to this store? Definitely the BABY GOATS, both Jesse and I got hold a 3 week old baby goat!

Jesse and I decided to have some Apple Pie at the APPLE ALLEY BAKERY - a must in Julian - and we were not disappointed!
